The Spiritual Pyramid; The Tools of Connection

Published by Janny

Connection and oneness are the foundational tools of healing, and are created and supported through the use of three spiritual tools.  This spiritual pyramid is comprised of intention, prayer and meditation.  When these three techniques are used routinely, healing can happen.

Unfortunately, there is much confusion and misunderstanding about meditation and prayer; with many believing these are tools belonging exclusively to the “religious”.  With this belief, you may dismiss the use, and therefore the benefit because you do not consider your self a religious person.  Even people who label themselves as religious, do not feel comfortable personally utilizing these three tools, and often then, miss the profound benefit of prayer, intention, and meditation.  Many are confused and believe meditation is a religion, and dismiss  meditation, overlooking a powerful tool to enhance and support their religious beliefs.  This lack of awareness denies many of us access to tools that have positive benefit and influence on improved health happiness, and well being.

The only requirement is for you tocreate a  desire to use these tools.  Intention is your desire married to a thought.  Prayer is a dialogue with The Divine or Source Energy.  Meditation is the experience of gentle awareness, a sense of a third party, wise observer, who can develop an awarenes of the incessant limited, and frequently harsh thoughts and feeling generated by our  ego/intellectual mind.  This continuouis flow of thought erroneously creates a sense that we are what we think and feel.   The thoughts are the product of our past experiences, menories, and instruction, which, are steeped in another’s concepts of what they believe is truth.  Meditation is easier that most believe, and develops a gentle, nonjudgemental awareness towards one self, others, and Source Energy.

The only truth is, you are a spiritual being wise and unlimited.  All you need to do is “be” in the moment, and go within, honor and commune with Source Energy- your Creator.  Here is where the truth of your nature is found.

Meditation brings you into the necessary present moment to fully accept and appreciate all that unfolds around you with the wise observer perspective.  Intention sets into motion your desire to create connection, and to notice it in the present moment through prayer and meditation.

Neuroscientists and their body of research, are assisting in helping us understand the universal nature of these techniques, and the power inherent in prayer and meditation to help you become more kind, peaceful, gentle, loving and compassionate towards your self, and then to others.

Preliminary analysis and interpretation of the neuroscientific research suggests meditation may change the way you think and the manner in which your brain functions.  Scientists and pharmaceutical companies have been searching for such a pill that could produce these same benefits.  Chemists have been unsuccessful.

It is no longer appropriate to say, “I can’t change, and it is just the way I am.”  Meditation apparently does change thee way we think.  It changes the “plasticity” of our brain as well as the function.  Our personal stories about our life, (perceptions), also change,  allowing us to live our life in a more peaceful, joyful, and productive manner.  We understand the truth of the authentic or true source of universal and unlimited connection and oneness.  It is not in another person, circumstance, or possession.  But within our connection with Source Energy that is the source.

We then are able to suspend attachment to another or a situation, with all of the inherent expectations and disappointments.  You may think that if you approach relationships from this perspective, you cannot be in a deeply loving relationship(s).  However, just the opposite is true.

In actuality, we suspend judgments of our self and others, allowing our self to be authentic and deeply compassionate and loving to others without expecting our self or others to behave in a prescribed manner.  We become less demanding and more loving.  We know when we look at another, we are all the same at the core of who we are.  We are one.

Through our relationship with The Divine or Source Energy, we infuse our self, others, and nature with an ever-flowing SOURCE ENERGY expressed as love, joy, peace, and compassion.  This then flows through us to others and has a positive reaction in our physical body, our emotional body, and mental body, and our spiritual body.  It is as vital to human beings as a clean breath of fresh air and a cool drink of clear clean water.  Healing Happens.
